Your 2 days desert tour from Ouarzazate begins at 8:00 a.m. with pick-up from your hotel in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle. We head south through the magnificent landscapes of the Draa Valley, one of the most beautiful regions in southern Morocco, famous for its palm groves, kasbahs and desert views.
The journey continues through Zagora and Tamegroute, two iconic stops on the road to the Sahara. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful scenery and discover the unique atmosphere of southern Morocco.
Lunch will be served in M’Hamid, the last village before entering the great desert. After lunch, we make a short stop at the sacred oasis before continuing to the spectacular dunes of Erg Chegaga.
Upon arrival at the camp, you will enjoy a camel ride at sunset across the golden dunes. This is one of the most magical moments of the tour, offering unforgettable views of the Sahara.
In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner around the campfire, followed by a peaceful night in a comfortable desert tent under the stars.
After breakfast, we begin the return journey to Ouarzazate through the wild and beautiful landscapes of Iriki National Park. This route offers a different side of the desert, with wide open spaces, desert tracks and stunning scenery.
We then continue through Foum Zguid and Tazenakht, two well-known stops in southern Morocco. A free lunch stop will be made along the way in Foum Zguid or Tazenakht, depending on the timing of the trip. Lunch on the return day is not included.
Arrival in Ouarzazate is expected in the afternoon, followed by transfer to your hotel.
